Eine interessante Rezension zum FSX von J. Casper (etwas scollen). Unter anderem wird auch auf die Hardware-Anforderungen eingegangen:

The latest AMD/Intel dual core CPU's
4gb of DDR 2 RAM
2x WD Raptor 10,000rpm harddrives in RAID 0 (else you are going to wait a long time for map loads)
2 of what ever is the latest offering from NVIDIA or ATI cards running in SLI/Crossfire mode that have 512mb of RAM each."
